Vanessa was raised in Gilbertsville, PA and is a graduate of Boyertown Area High School. She is married to husband Richard of Richard John Deskie Architect. She has four children and three granddaughters. In 2012, Vanessa changed her 30-year credit/collection career to a more positive customer-oriented career in real estate. She is grateful to be a member of Richard A. Zuber Realty and its first-rate agents. She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bechtelsville where she sings in the choir. Since 1995, she has been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a local charitable organization helping those in need, and is the secretary of its Bird Chapter #460 OES. Vanessa heads up Zuber’s annual food drive in June, which donates thousands of non-perishable food items and monetary donations to Veterans Making a Difference, a non-profit helping veterans in Berks County, PA. Vanessa spent ten years living in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX and Columbia, SC areas but returned to the Boyertown area to family and friends and the comforts of the hometown community which she adores and now serves. In 2024, she obtained her ABR (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) and SRS (Seller Representative Specialist) designations.
